welcome to the next and also last mainakustik various stamp series - for our last release we collected tracks from artists around the world. let us start with fausto messina and vicentes track melocoton in a big aldo cadiz remix. we had the remix since a long time and now its time for releaseing it. a2 is made by upcoming artist mariano mateljan from croatia. his track courir is a nice techhouse tool for the peaktime moments. on b1 we welcome longtime labelfriend and youfm radio clubnight host franksen. if you listen sometimes to his sets you will maybe have heard his sweet fever song already. last but not least we present paul s from athens/greece with his track sine a nice deep tech track for the morning hours.

3 track 12 from new but not new artist anno stamm. an alias of berlin producer lars stöwe aka anstam who has been one of our favourite producers around all city towers these last few years. original with a capital o, anno stamm is allowing him to fiddle about in the undergrowth even further. raw and twisted, dark with a dash of colour and heavy with the drums. 3 tracks in all, and those of a certain vintage should be able to spot the sample on lead track * i still have the photographs*. as always for those to whom such things matters - theres the usual full colour shrink-wrapped artwork with a download code.

the guys from audision are back with their next release in coloured vinyl! they produced chimes 1 for their live-set and it was much appreciated by the crowd. their new syntie roland jd 800 sounded crystal clear in their studio, but when they practiced for their live set in frankurt last year, all of a sudden it played a different sound … this was a magic moment which had to be recorded at once. the typcial audision device is: let the machines do the talking. and that is the also the story of chimes 2 *away* was the beatless track from their last years release up & away. so no one else but gez varley aka g-man created a dancefloor monster out of it. where can we start, when we talk about such a genius like gez varley. he was co-founder of the legendary lfo (warp records) duo. he wrote music history with his partner mark bell. under his solo project g-man, he released on labels like wir, i220, force inc or swim. *quo vadis* is still one of the most important all-time favourite techno tracks. last but not least a typical rough and deep house mix came out of christopher raus machines. the smallville member released on labels like, pampa, derive, aim, mule… and delivered a great track for this wonderful release. all in all - a must have!

patrick kunkel is not new to our family, he has been around for a while now, delivering some great remixes in the past. he recently joint forces with our good friend alex sauer - a very talented and well known vocalist and songwriter and recently electronic music producer and composer - to finally join us with a fantastic 3 track ep.

the soft rocks collective feature twice on the upstart black rox label with two heavily tribal remixes for a so far unknown artist. the soft rocks take on *filaw* is wrapped in horns and jungle sounds - not too far off a 1970s brian jackson and gil scott heron collaboration. on the flip is a possible talking heads reference in *once in a life time*, which gathers mesmeric african drums and percussion, grooving in harmony to ritualistic chant. a mohican david byrne perhaps?

fortyone records is ready to take off with their second release straight from basel switzerland. ready to board is their own a+r responsible cristian tamborrini together with kellerkind (stil vor talent) and dj le roi (get physical) who are responsible for the remix section! and their luggage is packed with good tunes!

another round of wonderful eclectic delights from balearica. side a features the in demand *tonys song* by tony g. originally released back in 88, this floorfilling electro-tinged house classic features an incredibly catchy piano riff, phat bassline and some spoken vocals taken from al pacinos *scarface*. a massive hit both at amnesia in ibiza as well as at manchesters hacienda and at the early acid house parties, this track still sounds super fresh. next up is the dope vocoder-laden groove of escape from new yorks *slow beat* - a brilliant balearic chugger that features high on many most-wanted lists. on the flipside, we get the much desired slo-mo disco of steve benders *the final thing* - a moog-heavy groover that hit big at both the balearic parties and on italys cosmic scene. then finally, to round off this great compilation is the extended instrumental version of bowie & methanys *this is not america* - a favourite of everyone from alfredo to theo parrish. quality stuff!

the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. marcel proust berlin-based producer aera has been travelling off the beaten path ever since he first went on the road with his aleph music label back in 2010. with only 5 releases he already laid out his very own musical topography in the borderlands in between house, uk bass and psychedelia. aera is now excited to present his debut album, offseason traveller. it is a personal notebook of his voyage of discovery to the vast landscapes of peru and bolivia, fleeing berlin in pursuit of new ideas, eyes and ears.

we never forget our roots here at idle hands. for people of a certain age the wild experiments of jungle and dnb remain close to our hearts. whilst scenes, sounds and trends may wax and wane that visceral feeling of chest rattling bass is something we hold on to. rhythmic theory is one producer who like us, never forgot. here we present two tunes deeply indebted to those times. it must be stated though, you will not find any amen breaks or ragga samples here, instead, this up and coming bristol producer transposes the atmospheres and deadly subs to a techno template. *legacy of the lost* and *riveted* follow on from two well received vinyl only release on brstl and his own self titled label. both tracks are immaculately crafted hardware jams that are designed solely with sound system use in mind.

debut vinyl release of new russian label based in moscow, hosted by agcp (a guy called phone) also more known in russia as sasha partyphone. focused on producing young russians (and ex ussr republics) underground artists, who was inspired by 70s, 80s and 90s. also concentrate on producing not only basic dance music, but and music for the different moments of live with the funky, old school and different other influences as well. rush inside (which sounds like russian side) - is a compilation of deep, funky, groovy, new disco sounds by unknowns underground producers from moscow and st. petersburg. the first step in attempt to present a part of contemporary russian electronic scene.
